The Menzies Sydney is 100% non-smoking, everywhere in the hotel.

The hotel uses the Dial An Angel baby sitting service. The guest needs to speak to the service direct as there are questions they will ask about the child that may be considered of a personal nature.

The minimum sitting time is 4 hours for a cost of $124, plus $20 for every hour thereafter.

The guest is also required to pay any parking costs incurred by the babysitter.

With the introduction of the Movielink Internet Service into the hotel, we are now able to offer guests a very limited access to free internet on the lobby. The access will only provide them with 30mins and 8MB of usage per 24 hour period.

Chinatown – 20 minute walk.

Everything else can be reached by train and taxi, which are both easily accessed from the hotel.

As long as the member is staying, your are allowed to reserve two rooms under the same name (Advantage Plus Members only).

Local calls cost $1.00 for the first 19 minutes of the call, and $0.17 per minute for each minute afterwards.

The cost is $14.95 per movie, available for both box office and adult movies.

The business centre is equipped with coin operated computers, charging $2 for 15 minutes of internet access, accepting $1 and $2 coins only.

Wynyard Lane Car Park is located in Wynyard Lane directly behind The Menzies Hotel. Wynyard Lane is between Carrington Street and George Street and the entrance is from Margaret Street. The Menzies is directly accessible from the car park via a flight of stairs.

Guest of The Menzies Sydney benefit from a discount rate of $45.00 per car, per 24 hour period.

Please ensure you receive a discount voucher from the hotel reception upon check-in. The voucher entitles you to a 24 hour multi-exit car park facility and will need to be paid on first exit.

Wynyard Lane Car Park has a height restriction for vehicles of 1.9 metres.

The Menzies Sydney Hotel offers laundry service and pick up anytime from your room and return within 24 hours.

Check-in at the hotel is at 2.00pm. Early check-in requests must be made on the day and depends of availability of the hotel.

Check-out at the hotel is 10.30am. Late check-out requests must be made early on the day of check-out and will vary depending on availability. We can hold your luggage in a secure area should you arrive earlier than 2.00pm or depart later than 10.30am.

The facilities are available 7 days a week from 5:30am to 10:30pm.

Getting to the Menzies from the Airport via TAXI

As you leave the airport terminals, you will happen upon the taxi ranks immediately. When heading back to the airport from the hotel, the taxi rank is right outside our main entrance. Allow approx 40 minutes journey time. Taxi cost varies from $40 to $70, depending on traffic.

Getting to the Menzies from the Airport via TRAIN

The stations are situated directly beneath the International T1 and Domestic T2 and T3 terminals.
Tickets can be purchased to and from all stations in the CityRail network with a direct service between the City Circle stations (The Menzies Sydney is located directed above Wynyard Train Station)

The heated indoor swimming pool dimensions are 11 meters length and 1.7 meters depth at the deep end.

Full buffet breakfast is $31 per person

Children aged 15 years and under enjoy complimentary breakfast when accompanied by paying adults.

Kids between 0 – 15 years old stay free of charge when accompanied by parents and using existing bedding.

Guests aged 16 and over sharing the same room with existing beddings: additional fee of $60.00 per person per night including a rollaway bed.

Children rollaway bed: $45.00 per night.

When a member dines alone the member will receive a 25% discount on food.
When two people dine a 50% discount on food applies.
When three people dine the discount will be 33%.
When four people dine the discount will be 25%.

Sydney International Airport, Kingsford Smith, is located 11km from the hotel.

Our concierge team will store your luggage for you until your room is available and have the luggage sent up to your room.

If you are checking out, you may also store your luggage with our concierge for the day and a ticket will be issued to you which you will be required to present later in the day for collection.

In house guests have full use of our gym, spa, pool & sauna facilities on a complimentary basis. The facilities are available 7 days a week from 5:30am to 10:30pm.
